BioChem Water’s team of experts is led by founder and General Manager Richard Brown. When you work with BioChem Water you can sure your business is in safe hands – Richard has worked in the water treatment industry for over 25 years and spent stints honing his skills at Memtec and Ecolab before setting up BioChem Water.

For Richard, a typical day involves visiting clients and conducting service work as well as responding to enquiries, talking to clients and report writing. As a large part of BioChem Water’s business involves wastewater, troubleshooting is common particularly with biological plants. Richard also tries to invest some time each day in growth and innovation: “I’m always looking to deliver more for our clients and explore how we can better serve our clients with innovation – through faster and better communication (we’ve just launched a client portal for instant client access to current and historical reports) and through the development and production of specialised chemicals.” BioChem Water works with clients large and small in a range of industries including food manufacturing and mining. The team consulted at MasterFoods Australia where they have installed a dissolved flotation plant and a screw press. They’re also performing a dewatering project of the anaerobic pond.
